1. Scope of services

Edura provides digital tools and services to help students prepare and submit university applications, including:

• Collecting and processing your academic records and supporting documents.
• Preparing and submitting applications to universities or authorized intermediaries (e.g., Uni-Assist).
• Providing status updates and communication regarding your applications.
• Offering recommendations and insights based on anonymized academic data.
• Providing payment processing through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

We act only as an intermediary and facilitator. Final decisions on admissions are made solely by universities and institutions.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country) to use our services.
• By using our services, you confirm that all information and documents you provide are accurate, lawful, and belong to you. Submitting false or fraudulent documents may result in termination of your account and possible legal consequences.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information.
• Ensure that documents you upload (e.g., transcripts, passport) are legitimate.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your application materials.

4. Payments

• Certain services require payment. All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your payment card details.
• Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and may be subject to taxes or transaction fees.
• Refunds: Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable once application processing has begun, as our service involves immediate work on your documents and submissions.

5. Data protection & privacy

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms. By using our services, you consent to the processing of your data as described in those policies.

• After application submission, we may anonymize academic records for statistical analysis.

6. Intellectual property

• All intellectual property rights in the Edura platform, content, branding, and technology remain our property or that of our licensors.
• You retain ownership of the documents and personal information you upload but grant us a limited license to use them solely for the purposes of providing the services.
• You must not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our service without written consent.

7. Third-party services

Our services may integrate with or rely on third-party providers (e.g., payment processors, analytics tools, intermediaries like Uni-Assist). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Service availability & changes

• We strive to provide continuous access but cannot guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at our discretion, with or without notice.
• We may change fees, features, or policies. Material changes will be communicated to you in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

• Our service is provided "as is" and "as available".
• We are not responsible for the outcome of university applications, as decisions rest solely with the institutions.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edura and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edura against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of rights of third parties.

11. Termination

• You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@appl-ai.me.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in unlawful activity.
• Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately, but obligations regarding payments, liability, and indemnity will survive.

12. Governing law & disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ingolstadt, Germany.

13. Changes to the Terms
